The Temple Fork Outfitters Blitz Series Fly Rod is an incredibly versatile and powerful big water rod for anglers who enjoy fishing with heavy lines and large flies at a distance. Its fast-action design and mid-level stiffness make it perfect for casting long intermediate and sinking lines, as well as weighted flies. Additionally, the Blitz series fly rods are engineered to stabilize faster and smoother, absorb shock better, and tolerate over-loading more comfortably than other rods. TFOs patented and exclusive Axiom technology virtually eliminates the ability to overpower the rod when casting. This means that anglers can push the rod to the limit without any fear of mushiness, and instead feel the line ripping out of their hand as it launches.
The Blitz rod series is made of high-modulus carbon fiber material and has an embedded double-helix of Kevlar within the blank. The Blitz features premium quality cork handles with burl accents. It also has fully anodized aluminum reel seats with built-in hook keepers. All seven models have alignment dots that are color-coded by line weight, RECOIL guides by REC, and ultra-lightweight chromium-impregnated stainless-steel snake guides. All models have full wells grips with fighting butts. The Blitz blanks come in a deep turquoise finish with dark blue thread wraps and silver tipping. When the bait gets nervous and fish start busting the surface, anglers need a tool that can deliver a fly quickly and precisely.
