The Ronin is a purpose built stickbait rod used for targeting the biggest GTs and tuna. They have the perfect length and action for not only casting but also working the topwater lures to get the most bites. Once youre on a fish they have a ton of pulling power and leverage, capable of making quick work of 100lb+ GT and tuna. They have a more moderate bend with a lot of recoil to tire a fish out, this brings the leverage closer to you making it easier to have a long fight. The rods use high quality Fuji SiC guides which are braid proof and will cast a knot with ease. These rods are very lightweight despite being capable of fishing heavier line up to 100lb, this makes them a joy to fish all day with less fatigue.
These rods use Toray Nanoalloy tech in the blank to make for a stronger and lighter resin system, combined with high quality 24T and 30T carbon fiber they are a powerful, lightweight and durable package. The guide train is arranged in a way that makes casting knots a non-issue, the larger guide sizes let you run a longer leader and not worry about the knot getting snagged along the way. An important and often overlooked feature on these kinds of rods is the reel seat, these feature a high quality Fuji reel seat that has been a standard for heavy duty lure rods. Instead of using the longer LD nut that used to be very popular these use a more reliable back-stop nut that ensures that your reel isnt coming off during a fight and theres no way to loosen it while fishing. Along with this they have a longer extension tube on the bottom to make sure you can use larger spinning reels that have a longer reel foot without interfering with the grips.
