These reels hold up to about 500 yards of 80lb braid and put out 40lbs of drag at strike just like the original Raptor models with the additional upgrade of the power handle that used to only come on the HXW. These are perfect for fishing night time tuna, heavy bait, dropper loops and casting for wahoo.
The Avet Raptors have received a bit of a face lift with some ergonomic changes, the new Raptor Plus models will feature a different frame to make it easier to thumb the spool as well as a more rounded side plate which is more comfortable to hold
