One of the most technologically advanced ways to improve your fishing, the Abu Garcia Virtual Casting Rod is the world’s first digitally integrated fishing rod. Working in tandem with the Anglr app, the Abu Garcia Virtual Rod pairs with your smartphone via Bluetooth while you fish. While fishing, simply push the button on the butt end of the rod to log a catch complete with automated weather, water, and location details. Doing this records the catch in your private log book, helping you keep perfect track of where you catch your fish and in what conditions. Double click the button to drop and editable waypoint of your exact location on the Anglr app, and press and hold the button to indicate a change in tackle. The rod never needs to be charged, has a 2 year battery life, and can operate outside of cellular service areas.
