Daiwa hasn’t gone a couple of years without releasing a new Lexa since they got announced, these have been a workhorse reel for them starting as the big bait bass and musky special and morphing into a go-to for everything from calico’s to yellowtail (I won’t say bluefin even though I’ve seen enough of them being caught on these low profiles).

The new models are more or less the same as the Winn Lexa’s minus the grips, the cosmetic change makes them more sleek so they’ll match most rods out there if you care about that.
