Designed for the more subtle technique of “Slow Pitch” jigging where the jig is deployed much slower and more deliberately. It is a vertical jigging technique that has gained in popularity in Northeast, Southeast and Gulf fisheries. The thin profile blank, with a smaller diameter, delivers a sharp action and serves to better control the jig.
The HVF Nanoplus Carbon Technology reinforces the blank through a micro-level arrangement of material in the plastic resin. This creates a smaller, lighter, more rigid blank. The blank is powerful with impressive fish-stopping power despite the size. The X-45 Bias Construction has greater strength and prevents twisting and ovalization. If the blank maintains hoop strength under load, it is much more powerful for its size.
The innovative Fuji FazLite K-Guides are virtually tangle free and leave a minimal footprint on the bend of the rod. The four models are designed for braided line classes ranging from 30- to 65-pound test. The smart, white appearance belies its strength.
