These reels havepopped up in Japan first but they managed to win ICAST 2023’s Best of Saltwater Reel category and for good reason.
These won’t be the reel you pull your kite in with, these are the reels you use for the bluefin and swordfish. With the extra drag, a more powerful motor and enough line capacity these should be very usable for many more applications than the Tanacom ever was even stepping into the territory of the Seaborg’s although not quite matching the motor power.
