NEW REGULATIONS BEGINNING THE ’23-’24 SEASON:A 2 3/16 escape ring will be required in all plastic and wood stone crab traps by 2023/2024 season. The escape ring must be located in the lower half of the trap and immediately adjacent to the vertical centerline of the trap wall on which it is installed. An escape ring may not be located adjacent to any corner where two vertical trap walls meet.
The fastest, easiest way to quickly get your limit of Stone Crabs. Proven low-maintenance design ensures these traps are rugged and will endure many years of hard use. Traps are fabricated with black polypropylene and polyethylene and are extremely durable, can be stacked, and have heavy lids that are attached to the trap.
Heavy duty plastic, easy to assemble, 5 per box. Four sides simply slide together with interlocking corners. Installation of hinges, escape ring, funnel, and stainless steel screws for trap construction (none included for escape rings) are provided with each order. No other accessories or wood piecesare included with the case of traps.Just add concrete and/or chicken wire (not included) to the bottom frame to create the weight.
