The Element series has a broad range of different rods, the deep jigging models choosing to specifically focus on bigger game in deeper water. These rods have heavier line ratings and a ton of pulling power for their weight, they would even do great as speed jigging rods for the bluefin we have in SoCal. These rods can be used with taller reels since they feature a high frame guide to keep the line off the blank making them perfect for the larger jigging reels. The heaviest model is rated up to 500g and PE8 line which is around the same size as a US spec 80lb braid, this makes it a perfect match with a taller reel for using 300-500g jigs when targeting bigger bluefin. The rods are very light so theyre a lot more comfortable to use all day or night compared to rail rods, and with the action the rod provides it should be a lot more productive during the day.
Overall these rods are great for the guys trying to explore deeper water rock/ling cod fishing as well as people trying to target bigger tuna, yellowtail or amberjack since they have the pulling power to get the fish in quickly.
